Between end of 2010 and Spring 2015, Interarts and Culture Action Europe coordinated the European Expert Network on Culture, on behalf of the Directorate General for Education and Culture of the European Union (DG EAC). Set up by a consortium of 18 experts, the network provided advice and support to the European Commission in its cultural policy development though the analysis of cultural policies at European, national and regional levels and the preparation of reports, studies and other policy-oriented tools. The project involved the collaboration of the Institute of International Relations, Zagreb (IMO), Croatia, and focused on different dimensions of culture, as well as on its relation with other areas such as social aspects, economy, external affairs, regional development, innovation policy, environment, tourism, research, etc.

The project included the launch of a website to disseminate the research carried out by the network’s experts and provide access to various resources in the field of cultural policy research such as details of relevant experts and organisations, regularly up-dated.

The website is currently not available, waiting to be relaunched by DG EAC and the coordinator of the European Expert Network on Culture and Audiovisual - EENCA, the continuation of the previous EENC.

In the wake of the website being again online, all the documents published on the EENC website between 2010 and 2015 are available on this page (see “related links”).
